Where have I been?

Well, I'm still alive! I have been so EXTREMELY busy these last few months that I'm lucky I've had time to breathe and sleep! The Holidays are slowly creeping up and we are less than three weeks! As for new designs, boy have I been busy!! I have so many new things flying out of my shop that I am having trouble keeping up. My newest promotion is the 2 for $6.00 special I'm running on my Mary Janes.

This one is by far by best seller of the season. I'm hoping to roll out a couple new hat and shoe designs before the end of 2010. I'm just trying my best to keep up with my current orders. My other best seller so far is my improved "Give a Hoot" Owl Hat:

Available in so many colors, this hat is absolutely adorable!! Available in sizes from Newborn - Adult. A possible new addition within the next week or so is:

The "One-Eyed" Monster Hat! This was a bit of an organic creation. I had a client request something "Monsters Inc" related and all I could think of was Mike W!! So here it is. Also available in sizes Newborn-Adult.

I'll post a little more this afternoon and this week as we continue our busy streak. As of today, I'm sorry to say that we will not guarantee delivery by Christmas for any order that is placed after today at 6pm. Realistically we can accept orders for Christmas delivery for those electing Priority Shipping until Friday of this week, 12/10/10.

New Listings!

I finally added some new items to my shop! I'll also be updating my website over the next two days and adding some new, professional pics too! Pardon my odd images, but I'll edit my listings a little later on in the next day or two with the more professional pictures.

Inspiration

I'm trying to find inspiration for more projects but if I use my daily life for inspiration, I think my creations would come out strange and LOUD!!

I think I need to focus more. I'm getting into a rut and I HATE that! I've been spending a lot of time with the kids the last few days, giving my hook and yarn a much needed break, but in spending time with the kids, I feel the urge to create things that are colorful. Bright pinks and blues and greens and purples. Girly girl stuff (for my daughter of course) and little boy things (for my little man). I'm thinking maybe a princess mirror? Or maybe some colorful blocks? Or maybe even a sweater or skirt? Even a dress of some kind. I think I might be coming out of my rut. Time to check out what materials I have in the closets and under the bed. I'm sure I can come up with something!

Teaser-Franken baby Beanie cap

this particular Beanie cap will be available in sizes Newborn -12 years. I'm still working on it but this particular one is almost finished. Its made of 100% cotton and features black, green and purple colors.

Halloween is now in FULL SWING!

My favorite! These are my Halloween Theme "Franken-Baby" themed shoes. Tri-colored, these shoes are made of 100% cotton and are super comfy. I think I need to make myself a pair! Sizes available are Newborn-12/18 months.

I've added so many things to my Etsy shop and I'm hoping (and hopefully my internet connection will be back up and running at home) to add even more items to my shop within the coming days. I'm working on new Beanie Caps to match my newest Mary Jane Shoes and there are even a couple of other things that I'm hoping to unveil as well (new patterns to try!) which will given even more of a variety of items to my shop.
